MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION — MANDATORY
Applicants must be currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:
✔ Exercise Science
✔ Sports Science
✔ Exercise Physiology
✔ Kinesiology
✔ Health & Fitness
NOTE: Applicants whose degree qualification is not in a relevant sport/exercise-related field may not be eligible for the internship.
MINIMUM CGPA
To ensure applicants meet our academic and competency requirements:
✔ Public / Government Universities: Minimum CGPA 3.60 / 4.00
✔ Private Universities: Minimum CGPA 3.75 / 4.00
Applicants below the stated CGPA requirement may not be considered.
INTERNSHIP DURATION
✔ Minimum internship period: 10 weeks
✔ Applicants must be able to commit to the full agreed internship period.
✔ The internship period must be clearly stated in the application.
APPLICATION DEADLINE
To allow sufficient time for application review, interview and university documentation, internship applications will close 2 months before the intended internship start date.
Late applications may not be accepted, especially if the internship intake has reached capacity.
ADDITIONAL SELECTION CRITERIA
After meeting the minimum academic requirements, applicants will be evaluated based on:
Relevant Knowledge & Skills
Preference may be given to applicants with knowledge or experience in:
✔ Exercise prescription
✔ Strength & conditioning
✔ Exercise testing
✔ Exercise rehabilitation
✔ Exercise physiology
Practical / Technical Skills
Applicants with experience in any of the following would be an advantage:
✔ Data analysis
✔ Research
✔ Report writing
✔ Testing equipment
✔ Training programme design
✔ Communication & Professionalism
Applicants should demonstrate:
✔ Good verbal and written communication
✔ Professional attitude
✔ Willingness to learn
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Good time management
✔ Responsibility and punctuality
✔ Appropriate professional conduct
✔ Learning Attitude
