HEALTH & WELLBEING
Testing isn’t just for athletes. It can help clinical patients and the general public better understand your physical and physiological condition, allowing you to make more informed decisions and work towards goals more effectively.
HEALTH & WELLBEING
Who is this for?
Anyone who wants to understand their current physical capacity — including people with chronic illness, chronic pain, deconditioning, or those returning to exercise after a long period of inactivity.
Why you may need it
Many people do not know their true physical baseline. Understanding where you are is the first step to understanding what you can do safely and how to progress.
What happens
A certified exercise physiologist will conduct the assessment based on your condition. After the assessment, wait about 5 mins, exercise physiologist will explain the result and give recommendation. You will receive your assessment data and summary within 24 hours after test.
What is included
Muscle Strength
Muscle Power
Left Right Asymmetry
Muscle Imbalance
Compensatory pattern
Injury Risk
Approximate duration
45 minutes including assessment + consultation
How to prepare
Avoid intense exercise 24 hours before.
Wear comfortable clothing and cover shoes / sport shoes.
Who is this for?
Anyone who wants to understand how much energy their body uses at rest — including individuals managing body weight, improving nutrition, changing body composition, or planning their daily calorie intake.
Why you may need it
Calorie needs vary from person to person. Using a general calorie calculator may not accurately reflect your body's actual energy requirements. An RMR test measures your resting energy expenditure to give you a more individualized starting point for nutrition and weight-management planning.
What happens
Before starting the test, you are required to fast at least 4 hours. You will rest comfortably while breathing through a metabolic testing system, a clear canopy hood will place over your head. The test measures the oxygen you consume and carbon dioxide you produce to determine how much energy your body uses at rest. After the test, the exercise physiologist will explain your results and provide recommendations. You will receive your test data and summary within 24 hours after the test.
What is included
Resting Metabolic Rate
Daily Calorie Needs
Macronutrient Utilization at Rest
Metaboilc Flexibility
Metabolism Status (Low / Normal / High)
Approximate duration
45 minutes - 1 hour
How to prepare
Have to fast at least 4 hours before test / overnight fasting (can drink plain water to stay hydrated)
Avoid high intensity exercise one day before test
Avoid caffine 12-24 hours before
Avoid greasy or unfamiliar food at least 4 hours before
Have a good sleep before the testing day
Who is this for?
Anyone who wants to understand how their body uses fat and carbohydrates during exercise — including individuals working on weight management, chronic illness, endurance athletes, recreational exercisers, and people looking to train more efficiently.
Why you may need it
Your body uses different amounts of fat and carbohydrates at different exercise intensities. Knowing the intensity where your fat oxidation is highest can help you understand your metabolism and choose more appropriate exercise intensities for your goals.
What happens
Baseline measurement: Your basic measurements, including heart rate and other relevant baseline information, will be recorded before testing.
Warm Up: You will complete a short warm-up at low intensity to prepare your body for the test.
Incremental Test: You will exercise on a treadmill while the intensity gradually increases. Throughout the test, you will breathe through a metabolic testing system that measures oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide production. This allows us to determine how your body uses fat and carbohydrates at different exercise intensities and identify your Fat Max Zone — the intensity where fat oxidation is maximized.
Recovery & Preparation: After completing the test, you will have 10 mins to cool down, change clothes and rest before the consultation.
Consultation: The exercise physiologist will explain your results, including your Fat Max Zone, substrate utilization, individualized exercise intensity zones, and recommendation.
Report: You will receive your PDF report within 24 hours after the testing session.
What is included
Fat Max Zone — exercise intensity where fat oxidation is maximized
Fat Oxidation Rate
Carbohydrate Utilization
Individualized Exercise Intensity Zones
Metabolic Efficiency
VO₂max Prediction
Approximate duration
90 mins including testing + consultation
How to prepare
Avoid intense exercise for 24 hours before.
Avoid heavy eating for 2–3 hours before the test.
Avoid caffeine and other stimulants for at least 4 hours before.
Avoid alcohol for 12 hours before.
Wear comfortable clothing and appropriate running shoes / sport shoes.
Maintain normal hydration, but avoid drinking large amounts immediately before the test.
Have a good sleep before testing day.
Who is this for?
Anyone who wants to understand their aerobic fitness and exercise capacity — from individuals starting an exercise programme to recreational athletes and competitive athletes looking to improve performance.
Why you may need it
VO₂max is one of the key indicators of aerobic fitness and endurance capacity. Knowing your actual aerobic capacity can help you understand your current fitness level, set realistic training goals, and develop more individualized training intensity and pacing strategies.
What happens
Baseline Measurement: Your basic measurements, including heart rate and other relevant baseline information, will be recorded before testing.
Warm Up: You will complete a warm-up at low intensity to prepare your body for the incremental test.
Incremental Test: You will exercise on a treadmill while the intensity gradually increases. You will breathe through a metabolic testing system that continuously measures oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide production. The intensity will progressively increase until you reach your maximal exercise capacity, allowing us to determine your VO₂max and assess your aerobic fitness and exercise response.
Recovery & Preparation: After completing the test, you will have 10 mins to cool down, change clothes and rest before the consultation.
Consultation: Exercise physiologist will explain your VO₂max, heart rate response, breathing response, exercise intensity zones and what the results mean for your current fitness and training.
Report: You will receive your digital report within 24 hours after the testing session.
What is included
Actual VO₂max
Aerobic Fitness Level
Heart Rate Response to Exercise
Fuel Utilisation During Different Intensity
Individualised Heart Rate & Exercise Intensity Zones
Carbs Replenish Amount
Training Recommendations
Approximate duration
90 mins including testing + consultation
