SUITABLE ALL LEVEL
SUITABLE ALL LEVEL
Designed for powerlifters who want to understand their physical capacity and metabolic profile to support strength development, body composition goals and competition preparation.
SUITABLE FOR ALL LEVEL
Who is this for?
Powerlifters who want to understand their physical capacity, identify strength or limitations and support their performance development.
Suitable for recreational powerlifters, competitive athletes and individuals preparing for a powerlifting competition.
Why you may need it
Powerlifting performance requires the ability to produce high levels of force while maintaining control, stability and efficient movement during the squat, bench press and deadlift.
Strength differences, left-right asymmetry, muscle imbalance or movement limitations may affect how effectively you produce and control force.
Objective testing can help you identify your physical strengths and limitations and make more informed decisions about your strength and conditioning program.
What happens
A certified exercise physiologist will conduct the assessment based on your condition. After the assessment, wait about 5-10 mins, exercise physiologist will explain the result and give recommendation. You will receive your assessment data and summary within 24 hours after test.
What is included
Muscle Strength
Muscle Power
Left-Right Asymmetry
Muscle Imbalance
Compensatory Movement Patterns
Injury Indicators
Approximate duration
45 minutes including assessment + consultation
How to prepare
Avoid intense exercise 24 hours before.
Wear comfortable clothing and cover shoes / sport shoes.
Who is this for?
Powerlifters and strength athletes who want to understand how their body uses fat and carbohydrates during exercise.
Suitable for athletes who are managing body composition, preparing for competition or looking to better understand their metabolic response to exercise.
Why you may need it
Body composition and energy availability can play an important role in strength performance, recovery and competition preparation.
Your body uses different amounts of fat and carbohydrates at different exercise intensities. Fat Max testing helps identify the exercise intensity where your fat oxidation is highest.
Understanding your metabolic response can provide additional information to support exercise planning and body-composition strategies.
What happens
Baseline measurement: Your basic measurements, including heart rate and other relevant baseline information, will be recorded before testing.
Warm Up: You will complete a short warm-up at low intensity to prepare your body for the test.
Incremental Test: You will exercise on a treadmill while the intensity gradually increases. Throughout the test, you will breathe through a metabolic testing system that measures oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide production. This allows us to determine how your body uses fat and carbohydrates at different exercise intensities and identify your Fat Max Zone — the intensity where fat oxidation is maximized.
Recovery & Preparation: After completing the test, you will have 10 mins to cool down, change clothes and rest before the consultation.
Consultation: The exercise physiologist will explain your results, including your Fat Max Zone, substrate utilization, individualized exercise intensity zones, and recommendation.
Report: You will receive your PDF report within 24 hours after the testing session.
What is included
Fat Max Zone — exercise intensity where fat oxidation is maximized
Fat Oxidation Rate
Carbohydrate Utilization
Individualized Exercise Intensity Zones
Metabolic Efficiency
VO₂max Prediction
Approximate duration
90 mins including testing + consultation
How to prepare
Avoid intense exercise for 24 hours before.
Avoid heavy eating for 2–3 hours before the test.
Avoid caffeine and other stimulants for at least 4 hours before.
Avoid alcohol for 12 hours before.
Wear comfortable clothing and appropriate running shoes / sport shoes.
Maintain normal hydration, but avoid drinking large amounts immediately before the test.
Have a good sleep before testing day.
Who is this for?
Powerlifters and strength athletes who want to understand how much energy their body uses at rest.
Suitable for athletes managing body weight, preparing for competition, changing weight classes or planning their nutrition and recovery strategy.
Why you may need it
Energy requirements can vary significantly between individuals, even when they have similar body size and training routines.
Understanding your actual resting energy expenditure can provide a more individualized starting point for managing calorie intake and body composition.
RMR testing can be particularly useful during weight-class preparation, off-season body-composition changes or periods of increased training demand.
What happens
Before starting the test, you are required to fast at least 4 hours. You will rest comfortably while breathing through a metabolic testing system, a clear canopy hood will place over your head. The test measures the oxygen you consume and carbon dioxide you produce to determine how much energy your body uses at rest. After the test, the exercise physiologist will explain your results and provide recommendations. You will receive your test data and summary within 24 hours after the test.
What is included
Resting Metabolic Rate
Daily Calorie Needs
Macronutrient Utilization at Rest
Metaboilc Flexibility
Metabolism Status (Low / Normal / High)
Approximate duration
45 minutes - 1 hour including testing + consultation
How to prepare
Have to fast at least 4 hours before test / overnight fasting (can drink plain water to stay hydrated)
Avoid high intensity exercise one day before test
Avoid caffine 12-24 hours before
Avoid greasy or unfamiliar food at least 4 hours before
Have a good sleep before the testing day
