SUITABLE ALL LEVEL
SUITABLE ALL LEVEL
Designed for HYROX athletes who want to understand their physical and physiological capacity across strength, power, endurance and hybrid exercise demands.
SUITABLE FOR ALL LEVEL
Who is this for?
HYROX athletes and sport enthusiasts who want to understand their physical readiness and performance capacity for HYROX.
Suitable for individuals preparing for their first HYROX event, recreational competitors and experienced athletes aiming to improve their performance.
Why you may need it
HYROX combines running with repeated functional movements, requiring strength, power, muscular endurance and the ability to perform under fatigue.
Physical limitations, muscle imbalance or left-right asymmetry may affect movement efficiency and performance during repeated high-intensity efforts.
This assessment provides objective data to help you identify areas that may require improvement and make more informed decisions about your strength and conditioning program.
What happens
A certified exercise physiologist will conduct the assessment based on your condition. After the assessment, wait about 5-10 mins, exercise physiologist will explain the result and give recommendation. You will receive your assessment data and summary within 24 hours after test.
What is included
Lower & Upper-Limb Muscle Strength
Muscle Power
Left-Right Asymmetry
Muscle Imbalance
Compensatory Movement Patterns
Physical Performance Indicators
Exercise & Strength Training Recommendations
Approximate duration
45 - 60 minutes including assessment + consultation
How to prepare
Avoid intense exercise 24 hours before.
Wear comfortable clothing and cover shoes / sport shoes.
Who is this for?
HYROX athletes and sport enthusiasts who want to understand their aerobic fitness and cardiovascular exercise capacity.
Suitable for individuals preparing for their first HYROX event as well as experienced competitors looking to improve their running and endurance performance.
Why you may need it
HYROX requires athletes to repeatedly run between functional stations, making aerobic capacity an important component of overall performance.
VO₂max provides an objective measure of your maximal aerobic capacity and can help you understand your current fitness level, track changes over time and guide your endurance training.
What happens
Baseline Measurement: Your basic measurements, including heart rate and other relevant baseline information, will be recorded before testing.
Warm Up: You will complete a warm-up at low intensity to prepare your body for the incremental test.
Incremental Test: You will exercise on a treadmill while the intensity gradually increases. You will breathe through a metabolic testing system that continuously measures oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide production. The intensity will progressively increase until you reach your maximal exercise capacity, allowing us to determine your VO₂max and assess your aerobic fitness and exercise response.
Recovery & Preparation: After completing the test, you will have 10 mins to cool down, change clothes and rest before the consultation.
Consultation: Exercise physiologist will explain your VO₂max, heart rate response, breathing response, exercise intensity zones and what the results mean for your current fitness and training.
Report: You will receive your digital report within 24 hours after the testing session.
What is included
Actual VO₂max
Aerobic Fitness Level
Heart Rate Response to Exercise
Fuel Utilisation During Different Intensity
Individualised Training Zones (Heart Rate & Pace)
Future Cardiovascular Fitness Prediction
Approximate duration
90 minutes including testing + consultation
How to prepare
Avoid intense exercise for 24 hours before.
Avoid heavy eating for 2–3 hours before the test.
Avoid caffeine and other stimulants for at least 4 hours before.
Avoid alcohol for 12 hours before.
Wear comfortable clothing and appropriate running shoes / sport shoes.
Maintain normal hydration, but avoid drinking large amounts immediately before the test.
Have a good sleep before testing day.
Who is this for?
HYROX athletes who want a comprehensive understanding of their aerobic capacity, lactate response and individualized training intensities.
Suitable for athletes preparing for competition, setting performance goals or looking to optimize their running and conditioning program.
Why you may need it
HYROX requires athletes to repeatedly run at relatively high intensities while performing demanding functional exercises between each running segment.
Combining VO₂max and lactate threshold testing provides a more complete picture of your aerobic capacity - ceiling and sustainable exercise intensity - efficiency.
The results can help you establish individualized heart rate and pace zones, improve running training and make more informed decisions about HYROX race preparation and pacing.
What happens
Baseline measurement: Your basic measurements, including heart rate, VO2, RER, and other relevant baseline information, will be recorded before testing.
Warm Up: You will complete a short warm-up at low intensity to prepare your body for the test.
Incremental Test: You will run on a treadmill while the intensity gradually increases. Throughout the test, oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide production will be measured using a metabolic testing system. At selected stages, small blood samples will also be taken to measure blood lactate concentration. This allows us to determine your VO₂max, LT1 and LT2, together with your individualized heart rate and pace zones.
Recovery & Preparation: After completing the test, you will have 10-15 mins to cool down, change clothes and rest before the consultation.
Consultation: The exercise physiologist will explain your VO₂max, lactate profile, LT1, LT2, heart rate zones and pace zones, and recommend how to apply the results to your training and race strategy.
Report: You will receive your PDF report within 24 hours after the testing session.
What is included
Actual VO₂max
Aerobic Fitness Level
Lactate Threshold Profiling (LT1 & LT2)
Fractional Utilisation of VO₂max
Future Cardiovascular Fitness Prediction
Individualized Training Zones (Heart Rate & Pace)
Carb Replenishment Amount
Training Recommendations
Approximate duration
